Professional-Level Technical Courses

Most of these courses are taught by Splash Dive Center, Inc.'s founder Mr. Ron Carmichael. Ron is an NACD instructor, PADI Course Director as well as a TDI Instructor Trainer on a number of programs.

PADI & TDI Nitrox Gas Blender, Advanced Blender & Service Technician

The objective of these courses is to train candidates in the proper technique equipment requirements and hazards involved in blending breathing gases for recreational SCUBA. Advanced Gas Blender objective is to train candidates in the proper procedures needed for the preparation and blending of high quality gasses using Helium. Service Technician enables the successful candidate to engage in the preparation of scuba equipment for technical diving gasses. Gas blending and technician classes are generally add-on programs taught to dive professionals or consumers interested in breathing gas preparation. We teach both PADI and TDI programs.

Technical Divemaster and Instructor Training

This training is for the dive professional wishing to assist with technical diving classes or develop skills as technical instructors. Those interested can enroll in a mentor program with Ron. Generally Ron can work with 2–3 instructors a year.
