PADI Open Water Diver
BASIC SCUBA DIVING COURSE
Persons successfully completing the SPLASH basic SCUBA
diving training course are Certified SCUBA Divers and receive
a PADI certification card. The course consists of academic
instruction (classroom or web-based eLearning), in-water
training at a local pool, and checkout dives (local, or
at other travel destinations).
Academic and pool training sessions (class/pool) are sold
as a package, checkout dives packages are sold separately.
SPLASH Dive Center offers a very flexible schedule to meet
your needs. SPLASH also offers private and semi-private
classes for those who require even more flexibility. Young
divers ages 10-12 are scheduled privately. Also, contact
SPLASH for information about the Seal Team SCUBA program,
a non-certification course, for ages 8-12.
The class/pool sessions may be completed in a single weekend
(Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning) or over 3 consecutive
Thursday evenings (price slightly higher). Class sizes are limited, and class registration closes Monday prior to class start date.
