Nitrox/Enriched Air

Looking to extend your bottom time or gain an extra margin of safety against decompression sickness? Then check out Enriched Air Diving (Nitrox) certification training for recreational divers, which emphasizes the theoretical and operational considerations of enriched air using 22% to 40% oxygen mixes. To obtain Nitrox certification, students successfully complete academic training and a lab. There are two options for the academic training. Students independently study training material purchased from SPLASH (cost of materails is not included in class tuition) then attend an instructor-led classroom session, or take the academic training by purchasing web-based instruction (no other training materials are required). SPLASH class tuition is non-refundable. Following successful completion of either academic development option, the student then attends a workshop at SPLASH. The classroom and workshop are taught the same day. No dives are required.

You can start your Nitrox training NOW on-line, or stop by SPLASH Dive Center and pick up the training materials! To take the class, you will need to be at least 15 years old and a certified diver.
