Splash Dive Center has been upgrading our rental line! Our philosophy is that your learning experience is optimized by having a good fitting BCD and wetsuit. With both the Cressi Lady Aquaride and the Oceanic ladies' Hera BCD available in our rental line, prospective lady divers don't have to try to master buoyancy in a man's BCD. In addition, we have added the adjustable SeaSoft SeaLion BCD, which is a great choice for youth divers like our Boy Scout students since it can be expanded for the young men who may be a larger size when they get to Florida's SeaBase than they were when they took the local certification training.
We have Oceanic's Excursion and Probe BCDs in our rental line. These are particularly well suited to the Advanced, Rescue and Wreck student divers who need a lot of Stainless Steel D rings to attach lights and other accessories needed for those training scenarios.
We feel that these rental and purchase options are a significant benefit since we believe that if you can use the type of BCD and regulator in your warm water destination that you had while training here in Virginia, your learning curve is measurably shortened, to maximize your enjoyment of the diving experience.
